Today is my dad’s 50th Birthday.

I recently finished a project for Scrapbooking which was great fun. A colleague of my sisters was retiring and her office wanted to put together a scrapbook for this lady, Lynne. I have met Lynne on numerous occasions, and thought that it would be fun to do the scrapbook for them, so I volunteered. I only had a couple of weeks to do the project because everyone in the organisation was asked to write a message for Lynne that would be put into the book, so I wanted to make sure they had all arrived before I put the whole thing together.
I know that not everyone will want to see what I created, so I have made a seperate page for all of the LO’s that I did. If you want to see them, feel free to go to this page and see them.
I have been asked to create a scrapbook for a colleague of Angela’s, and I have a deadline to meet. So, if I disapear for a while, it is simply because I am working hard on that!
I also have a meeting with the director of Mercy tomorrow. I hope it is productive. I have lots of ideas!

I did this LO yesterday. The picture was taken on Monday when Evan and I went on our latest adventure. We were attempting to climb Pendle Hill, got completely lost walked up a hill following a trail we realised later was not even on the map. The trail went no-where, we turned around, found our trail, but by this point it was too late to climb the hill and I was exhausted. Needless to say we snapped this picture at the BEGINNING of our hike when I was still smiling!
Supplies:
Paper and Tag are Allure by Diane Miller and can be found on Scrapgirls
You can see my layout on Scrapgirls by following this link: http://scrapgirls.com.ipbhost.com/index.php?automodule=gallery&req=si&img=18511
I often visit ScrapGirls website and get most of my ideas for scrapbooking from this website. Every Monday at 12noon (ET) 5pmGMT they have have a cropping session. They Host of the Crop will suggest a theme, colour or other idea that you design your LO about. Today was to do a Lay Out using only photograph. I turned up 55 minutes late, but decided to give it a go ahead anyway! Here is what I came up with…in 30 minutes!
This is Andre Cole Gutierrez. My cousin Betsy, gave birth in December 2006, to this beutiful little boy after much difficulty in her pregnancy. I can’t wait to meet him!

This is a LO I did this week and thought I would put it up on here, especially for Bill & Jane.
Should have mentioned this before. The paper I used is two shades from Joana Carvalho Designs, called Green Elephant and is from Digital Freebies. The ‘Travel’ and ‘Adventure’ embellishments are from Rhonna Farrer called the May Free {PEA} Kit.
I have not had the chance to scrapbook in a while, but I got a great pack from http://www.digitalfreebies.com/ by Jan Hosford and could not resist putting a LayOut together.
I have the day off today and I have lots to do, but I thought before I got down to cleaning the house, food shopping and running errands, I would take a little while to do something I enjoy. Here is the latest LO from my new hobby of digital scrapbooking.
