Lapel in Regionals

Tonight, Sam’s football team (Lapel Bulldogs) are playing their Regional game. Now, fair enough, I don’t really know what this means, so I can’t explain it to anyone in England reading this. But, those of you from the States know what it means. The Bulldogs have never made it this far before, so they are doing great! 15 years ago, they got to the second round of Sectionals, but never had they won sectionals before. Last week they won the Sectionals. This week, in the Regionals they are playing Cardinal Ritters a team from Indy that are ranked 1st in the State in their division. This will be a tough team, but I hope we can beat them…I hope that Ritter is so focused on getting to Semi-State that they take this game lightly….I hope they think the Bulldogs are no competition, because if they are thinking that way, we might just beat them.

If they win, I will definitly be posting about this again tonight, or first thing tomorrow morning….hopefully with a couple newspaper articles attached!

Last night they had a pep rally, here are some pictures: http://www.heraldbulletin.com/multimedia/local_story_318222727.html
Here is what the Herald Bulletin is saying about tonight’s game: http://www.heraldbulletin.com/sports/local_story_319001104.html "Nothing To Lose"
