It’s always Autumn in England

Duel

Filed under: Life, Thoughts, My Travels, Moving

The paperwork for my Duel Citizenship has come through! I now go to a ceremony to accept it, which I will be doing at the end of October. Then I can get my British Passport! I am excited. Duel Citizenship is kinda fun to think about.
Even though on a day to day basis, it doesn’t make much difference to my living, it does mean Evan and I have the choice of living in the UK or America and travelling in the EU will be much easier!

  1. Yay! Didn’t you have that when we were at Milligan? Or was that some other kind? I just remember that you had to go back and forth every two years or something to keep it.

And I hope it’s dual citizenship and not duel citizenship. That sounds dangerous…

They don’t really spell it that way, do they?

  3. I did apply while I was there, but the paperwork took longer than expected, so it never came. It finally all came through and now I am heading over to attend a ceremony! It was confusing. It has taken a long time for this to finally get to this point!
