If you want more information, see Evan’s Blog, using the link on the right. We went to Crookrise today. Beautiful!

Sunset
I took this for the colours in the sky. It was about 5pm, so the sun had not set yet, but the sky was just starting to turn pink and purple. Click on this for a larger image.

Wonderful

It’s been a while since I last blogged. Nothing much new to say, so why waste any words when I can share these two beautiful pictures taken in June by my grandpa.

This is a picture from halfway up Boulsworth Hill a couple weeks ago. The white house in the distance is sitting on the road that I drive to work every day.

In the distance is Pendle Hill, which Evan and I hiked a few weeks ago.

Thursday

I took all the residents on an outdoor pursuits day today with 3 other staff. We hiked along a gorge and went caving.

We all had lots of fun, but now I am TIRED! I’m going to shower and head to bed because it meant that I pulled a 12 hour day today. Got to work at 8:15am and arrived home at 8:30pm.

Just for fun, I am adding another picture taken by my Grandpa. This is of my mom and my siblings and I.

Family Pictures

In June all of my siblings were in America at the same time, so we took the opportunity to have pictures taken with our mom. We had a photo session with my grandpa who is a photographer, in Shady Side Park. Lots of fun, and here are the results.

Mom, her kids & grandkids
Mom with her 4 kids and 2 grandkids. I made a couple ‘fixes’ on this one, since you can’t guarentee settings outside like you can in a studio. I took out a couple leaves and a branch across the top right corner! Hope you can’t tell.

A candid shot of us all…we had loads of fun!

Life is ok

It is great when your next door neighbors return from holiday at 3am and then when they wake up at 11am, come and knock on your door to ask for a little bit of milk (in their pajamas)! It’s also great when you can tell them to keep it all because you know you have more in your freezer! I am glad we know our neighbors well enough to ask for favours…they have looked after our cats twice already.

To steal David and Chad’s phrase:

Life is OK!!
