Life
I am figuring out that life is mostly: work, eating, cleaning and sleeping. There isn’t a whole lot of time for anything else.
So, since that is what life consists of, I will tell you what I did today. I got up, checked emails, replyed to a couple. Had breakfast, cleaned the house & did laundry, ate lunch, then went grocery shopping at Asda for the first time. It is now 7pm and dinner is in the oven. After that I will finish some laundry and then pack my bag to be ready for work tomorrow. Hmmm…sounds an awful lot like what I just described.
The most exciting part of the day was trying to decide about where we want to do our grocery shopping. Evan and I think we might start shopping at Asda instead of Tesco. Tesco is in Skipton, about 10 miles away. It is not as big as the Tesco we shopped at in Northampton and does not have anything extra other than food. But, it is familiar.
Asda is in Colne about 9 miles away. It is slightly bigger than the Tesco in Skipton, but it is different and a new shopping experience. But, it also has clothes, Electricals (music & dvd’s) and a few aisles of ‘Home’ items.
Next I am going to get out my reciepts and compare prices. I guess if there is a big difference in price and Asda is cheaper, we might have to go for that option, even though it means getting used to a new store. I will let you know how it goes!
I suppose if you switch grocery stores, I’ll really have to come visit. I’ve been to Tesco, but if you start shopping at Asda, I won’t be able to imagine it!

do you know that asda is owned by walmart?? we don’t have one close by, but every once in awhile we do go..i think you will find it cheaper than tesco’s which in a way will make up for the fact that there is no ‘club card’ of sorts!! happy shopping =)
